Imagine this scenario:
You are going to a big furniture shop, and see an amazing furniture with a lot of blocks and modules, nice colors and perfectly for you house. You decided to buy it and get the pack unmounted with some instructions on how to do it. Ofcourse you are a doctor and do not know how to assemble furniture. The corect way is to hire a carpenter to do the job for you or the wrong way is to go to the store and say I cannot assemble I am a doctor and I want my money back.
Don’t want to sound bad, but the simplies way with authors that do not offer support or are busy, is to find another person to do the job for you.
You can post here on forum for some help, or on microlancer. I am sure you will recevice not 1, but a lot of replies to your request. There are users that will help you no mater if they are or not the theme creators.
Hope for London too. It will be great to meet some of you guys. Who is coming from Envato officials?
Barcelona is amazing, if you leave beside the comercial things, and try to concentrate on the artistic side you will discover a great source of inspiration. Especially on the buildings, the arhitecture and Gaudi work.
I stayed there too, but not anynmore. Spain have more amazing places outside big city areas.
I suggest take the city tour bus, it’s around 20 euro, it will take you to all the nice places. Even got 2 routes, you can jump on-off on any bus station. And after go and stay more on the places you liked on the tour.
I know sometimes we are dealing with lack of inspiration days. But after a bad day comes a better one. A lot of authors maybe are inspiring too much from existing themes. One day I found a theme that was accepted and had in footer “Theme made by FamousThemes”, the same copyrighted text. And other stuff I don’t want to mention.
Just wanna to say, it’s an amazing community we have here, so let’s play fair to keep it this way.
Daughter – Get Lucky (Daft Punk cover)
Please put those stickers on some chicks from the beach and picture them
The only chick I can place those stickers is my fiance under that green umbrela :))
Nice beach… I was remembering the usual comments about the taste of Vegemite, so… have you tried using it as sunscreen?
Well didn’t try it yet, but got some sangria to cover it in case it taste bad :))
Looks like the weather is nice over there
Yes sunny days over here
Just wanted to say thank you Envato for the Elite pack. Here are some shots:
Best Regards from Spain.
Just out of curiosity, after what time you got it ? From receiving that email to get it at home.
I am still waiting mine since oct 2012, is this long should take?
Some solutions would be:
1. Make your website responsive. Add a CSS Media Queries section and make the website layout responsive down to mobile resolutions. Maybe “display:none” to some extra content you don’t want to show on mobiles, making the content smaller.
2. Create a separate mobile website and add only the basic info from your desktop website. With a link to “View the full website” to those user who want to explore the full desktop website.
Wanted to ask some opinions about how you guys deal with HTML text added into custom widgets textares.
From my side, I receive a lot of messages from users telling me they want to use all HTML tags inside widgets.
Are you using some custom options in admin to enable/disable using HTML in widgets textareas?
Are you using sanitization functions like
echo wp_kses( $content, array( 'strong' => array(), 'a' => array('href') ) ); and let them use some of the HTML tags?
Or you tell them is not safe to use HTML tags inside widgets.
Any other ideeas?
