Yeah… pretty elegant solution. Just means that authors need to space out their uploads a little to maximise exposure. (which is a good idea anyway, if you ask me)
I wonder if something similar could be rolled out for authors that I follow. I’ve had to unfollow several authors because they upload so much and swamp my 3×3 box in the top right of the home page. Following Photodune authors is a complete no-no for this reason. I only see their work.
In fact if Photodune could be detrimental to sales by other authors, then it’s for this reason. We spend a lot of time and energy building up followers, essentially so that they see our new files when we realease them. If a user also follows a Photodune author, then the chances are they won’t see my occasional new files at all.Potentially the same squabble that has afflicted the home-page for a long time is true for the follow box. The exposure for a file that took two weeks to produce is being negatively impacted by a glut of files that took 20 minutes to produce.
Hmm, so what if your new file that took 15-20 days to produce does not show at all on the front page?
I got this for 320 euros and it’s well worth the cash.http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005142
I have it for over a year now and I’m very happy with it. It can’t really compete with DELL and APPLE Cinema but it’s a great screen. And as a bonus you get a decent digital TV. I know that some of you are like ewwww – combo, but this thing ROCKS ! Amazing product, just check out the reviews
PS. Text and vectors look perfect, you just need to bring the sharpness down to zero.
PpS. Remote is awesome, you can even turn off the LED diode with a dedicated button

Authors with 50-100-100+ files would have to make previews for all of them (or for the popular ones at least). I don’t mind making previews for my 5 projects, but what if you have like 82 projects, not to mention stock footage authors

Lol, now I have to change my nickname to JC Farley and make some augmented projects
Yes and yes. Blizzard is well known for polished HQ games so I’m pretty sure we won’t be disappointed Nope, I don’t like spoilers
