– The hiding effect of the header part causes the content to “jump” when scrolling and it’s kinda annoying (Mac, latest Chrome).

Sorry, but the design is nowhere near the required quality. If are not able to see it and you think there’s nothing aesthetically wrong with it, then that only proves, that you need to study A LOT more about webdesign.
It’s not terrible, of course. There are some good things and it’s hard to give any specific feedback, but I would focus on typography, white space, ...
Also, search for more-recent designs for inspiration.
