I’ve had a few rejections of late and have looked closely at each logo. There are a couple in particular which imo should not be rejected, especially as I have simplified them now.

I personally think it just comes down to the reviewer and sometimes their taste in logo’s. I’ve submitted some varying style of logo’s, and what I consider to be better designs often get rejected while the poorer designs get passed. I’ve read the GR logo guidelines over and over but theres no obvious reason for designs to be rejected sometimes, it really is frustrating.

I would say this about your logo…

As much as I like the design there are a lot of ‘PLAY’ symbols on the marketplace and I’m not sure it is anything different from what is already available? It’s a nice logo, just not sure it’s sufficiently different.

And they still got hard rejected!

No idea why now that all the fine lines are gone??? It’s not as if the market place is overloaded with Lionheart logo’s and lynx logo’s!

Why can’t the reviewer just come out and say a reason?

hahahahahahaahahahaaaahahhaahhaha logo

Take a look at your own portfolio before laughing at other peoples work NCDesigner!

Keep at it Creativology! As the other guys say, try and simplify the logo, take away outlines and shadow under lettering etc.

I have re submitted the files after close inspection! I gave thickened up the fine lines and removed the whiskers all together on the Lion heart logo, and I have thickened thickened the lines on the lynx, including a couple very fine lines in the ear!

Fingers crossed this passes this time, I cannot see any logical reason it wouldn’t!

Ah I see the link has been removed, but I was only comparing the style of the lines! Which was very similar in line style to my logo’s above yet approved! It was a very nice logo, but it just made me wonder why my logo was rejected after initially thinking it was due to line weight?

It would be good to have a solid answer on why some of my recent designs have been hard rejected??? It looks to me as these designs might be rejected by a reviewer one day, and approved by a different reviewer the next?

WHAT TO DO NOW??? Do slightly change the design making the lines heavier? This will alter the style slightly but could well get approved! Or is this just going to be a complete waste of my time and the logo is being rejected for another reason???

Yes different reviewers have different opinions, but surely they should flag up logo’s with fine lines but are a good standard rather than just Hard Reject so you can’t upload again?

I’m gutted about a few recent logo’s being rejected, especially as I’ve spent long periods designing them!

OK just as an example… how does this logo get accepted?

[Link Removed. Please do not call out other authors or items on the forums. Thanks! ^TK] For the record I really like the example logo, I’m just choosing something similar in line work!!!

Surely there has to be a standard for all designs??? It makes no sense why mine are not accepted yet this one is???

HELP!

I have had 5-6 logo’s rejected recently, some of which I look at and think OK, but 2 of my recent ones I have no idea why?

Could it be because the line work is to fine???

I am getting a little dejected at putting hours into logo’s and having them rejected especially when I see some of the poor repetitive logo’s I see being accepted.

It would really help on hard rejections for a reason, but I accept that won’t happen.

Here are the 2 logo’s in question:

Lynx photo Lynx-Preview_zps70d19a68.jpg

And here’s a more detailed image:

Any help would be most appreciated.
