Congratulations on being featured!!
It sounds rather good, but I would maybe only use it to add extra layer(s) to my own compositions, rather than build an entire track out of existing phrases.
Edit: I see there are some bad reviews already!
I actually really liked the concepts, but it’s strengths may also be it’s weaknesses. Because it’s not a ‘dime in the dozen’ kind of music, commercial value may be low. It’s really important to understand what kind of sound will sell on Audiojungle, and therefore what kind of music will be approved by the reviewers.
I think the intro lacks a little subtelty, it just bangs straight out of the speakers from the beginning. I really had to adjust myself to the sound. Later, when the guitar comes in, I like the vibe, but I think the intro kinda destroyed it’s commercial value.
And a trending item as well! Maybe there is a future for jazzy tracks after all!
These guys get so much sh#t all the time for some reason, but are working their asses off for all of us, so props to them!
Being an oldschool hiphop guy myself with no real experience in this subgenre, I can hear the potential, but as WorldBeyond says: the main melody gets a bit tiresome because of the lack of variation and progression. I would love to hear the main melody arpeggiated at some point for example, with minimalistic synth stabs or something. Try to experiment. Also, maybe go with a Bass synth without the ‘wah’, I think it’ll be more powerful that way.
