I’ve been studying the framework. Very good work. I’m impressed at how light weight it is. I may switch to using it once am able to port some of my code to it. Thanks again.
Yeah I have waited for over 5 months for my campaign. I wasn’t surprised, I got used to it already, so should you – this is Eliter Program
Wow, 3 to 5 months is a long time. My 10 days is nothing compared to that. Sorry to hear all you guys are having these delays.
I think giving away campaign money as a Google Adword gift card or credits in other platforms so that authors can ran their own campaigns is a good idea. Looks like a total waste of money if $1000 generates only 3 sales.
I think the elite program is dying an agonizing death. I got the elite badge about 10 days ago or so and the only message I’ve gotten so far was the automated email saying “Woohoo – you did it. You just joined the Envato Elite Author program…etc”. I haven’t heard from anyone since. I haven’t bothered to contact support because we all know how that’s gonna be like.
When I joined Themeforest the Elite badge was kinda of a motivation to keep going but now am a bit underwhelmed to say the least. Now I have set my own goals. It’s not about the rewards but I think the experience could be better. The analytics is a great feature. A tuts plus subscription was promised but I haven’t gotten that yet.
Another thing that bothers me is how the rewards were lowered when you reach 75k. I think too many people became elites and it became expensive, but was it really THAT expensive considering you’ve made envato almost 30k?
Great idea. I am surprised no one suggested that before. +1.
Thanks for sharing. I wouldn’t have known about the campaign otherwise and I love those projects. I’ve added a small amount too, I hope it helps
Great article. I remember my first 5 products here were Joomla Templates. It was fun but I didn’t find Joomla challenging enough to learn new technology. That’s when I moved on to Wordpress learnt PHP, JS etc. Now I find myself doing node js and ruby on rails projects. Most clients I have come across in the last year or so are not interested in Joomla.
Please please put it back. Do we have to beg?
No Man, you can’t say you are too stupid
Managing a server is a great learning experience but it can be a real pain. It is ok 90% of the time but the 10% when things go wrong you will pull some of your hairs out and wish you had paid someone to worry about that 10%.
