Cart and checkout use ‘tables’ as tabular data, I think that’s why developers can’t make it 100% responsive in small devices.

Just for example from the real world – Did you know isotope was inspired by (and made exact clone of the concept) Quicksand. But Desandro make it more perfect, ease to use, way better than quicksand.

Nice start, I’d say work more on details (margin, padding, white space) – change your button style, flickr image at the footer (nay!), your content structure (About page) really bad, seems you just play around with columns – take some times to check out the top seller for HTML category. Learn how they manage the details and content structure.

and yep, you need add more effects on the portfolio and all images!
