Useless. Themeforest needs our videos as much as we need photodune. We can put on video preview photos from photodune, but it will be always better to find some photos outside Envato (they will be without watermark, high-res and more easily found). + I think none of our buyers purchase those photos, they put their own.
And the same thing with VH and TF. For TF author is better to find something on vimeo or youtube. And who, the hell, will buy our project if they so it on TF? Just show me that person.

Which leads us to the next question: why do we even have to bother creating the preview file (at least for motion graphics and stock footage categories) if they are being processed afterwards again? Why not just upload the main video and let the servers compress/create preview video?

I’m agree, but I think the reason is that they have not taught it to add watermark above. :)

Hello colleagues! Just now approved my new project here and I see some different between preview file which I uploaded and video preview which I see after release. I see that after approve my preview looks worse. It has lower quality and some artifacts. Does anybody has the same problem? Thanks for feedback.

Wow! Thanks for screenshot, Creattive! I didn’t see this links before because I always had used grid view in portfolio. So I think it’s imperfect interface and my carelessness.
