Try to find them on these locations, as these don’t violate.
I think these don’t look to be great quality. You can see that there are other layer style designers / pieces that have a really impressive image preview, variance of styles, and are just presented better. This doesn’t seem to be anywhere near the quality of others.
Also, the stroke on really grungy font faces really makes it look low quality, as the stroke overrides a lot of the fill area – which looks tacky.
Hope this helps!
1. Travel the World, including: North Korea, Easter Island, Germany, Siberia, Thailand 2. Achieve Black Belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (usually takes 10-15 years, Purple currently) 3. Fight in a MMA match 4. Teach and Inspire others BJJ / Graphic Design / Web Development, and be paid handsomely 5. Live well and stress free with the lady.
Not only is uploading an item you buy a copyright issue, that is plain stealing.
It can be hard to get things through the review team, however this item has a number of issues that really make it low quality. You can see the gradient lines on the red side, with a stretched / pixelated sample logo present. I think your sample logo text is a system font – not the worst thing ever but it is really glaringly not good.
The front and back sides don’t match up, and are kind of a weird repeat. The name area doesn’t line up with the yellow ribbon.
Those are just a few things, and I hope this helps. Take a look at what other authors have done, and use that as a point of reference (don’t copy, but use as inspiration to get better).
Hope this helps,
On the lines of what Toivo said, I think the font choice / styling is the weakest link. Hierarchy issues with how the text is laid out may also be an issue. I do like the custom chain link thingy in the middle though, that is pretty gnarly.
Best of luck!
I compete and train Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). BJJ is basically like high school wrestling, but with join locks, chokes, and submissions. Its an easy way to get ugly but in amazing shape at the same time.
Sitting in front of a computer sucks after a few hours, and my top productivity comes after the gym or from lifting.
BJJ can make you not suck in fights, and keep your physique in great shape. Not to mention all of the psychological / mental changes our body goes through after you dedicate yourself to the sport.
Try it out!
I think it can be difficult to get started, as learning to improve based on rejections is a difficult process. No one likes being told your stuff isn’t good enough!
In Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (wrestling + chokes) you suck for a really long time usually until one day things begin to click. I think graphic design is a lot like that. Emulate your idols and constantly learn, and one day you finally have a clue about what is going on.
Hope this helps, best of luck.
...then just abandon it completely? It seems to happen to me a lot.
Does anyone feel like sharing failed experiments?
This is card is way out of balance in way too many places. The typography and layout are not appealing, and it is kind of all over the place. I would read some articles on balance, composition, and typography and try again after that.
Best of luck,
