This whole thing is really something to laugh about. Envato, you destroyed my relationship with you in few months that took years to build. Its a big problem yes- but you revealed your real face now how you are incredibly unprofessionally handling this with us authors. In my opinion this mess was the beginning of a deep deep downward fall. .
Why are you talking about paying money for the past years? I don’t understand this. I mean Envato never stated that they aren’t the “sellers” until now. So why paying back money? They can say that we sell our items directly to the costumers, but it wasn’t the case! Maybe they will introduce a new system in 2015, that we get instant payment from the costumers to our PayPal account- that would be ok, but now the way it is now!
Its so beautiful, I just love it.
Hello, Im having a question about the use of images in wordpress. We have a portfolio, where we have set a big sized images as featured image. This image is then displayed in the portfolio page (item page) and the category page (all items on the page). The problem is now that the big sized image (100kb) is loading on the Category page. How is it possible to create a smaller sized thumbnail? Is it bad for SEO when we have the same image in two sizes on the website?
Thank you for your help!
Yeah thats not fair.
Here is my submission: http://graphicriver.net/item/cloudy-sky-game-background/8751496
We know the new designs are not to everyone’s taste, but we also know design is highly subjective and it’s impossible to make something everyone loves.
While maybe there were people who didn’t liked the old badges, I don’t remember a thread with 54 pages of mostly negative feedback about them. That proves a consensus is possiblenatman said
Again, we know there’s room for improvement, but we are also really proud of what we achieved and love the new look.
first rule of design is to not get in love with your creations and be critical about it. I’m not joking. Is true, this rule exist.natman saidwill not happen
With time, we hope you will too.
Thats so true. Its really a shame!
I believe this is the trend for the future. Even if Envato will sail back and forget about this changes, our trust is gone. Authors need safety to invest much time and create high quality item. But do we have this? No. Envato shows us they can change anything in one day that could destroy our income. What comes next? People will look out much more for safer “selling environments”- by changing to competitive marketplaces or by creating their own. Im really sad about this whats going on.
+1 Im not a TF author, but I want to support the newcomers on this marketplace!
