Huh? I don’t understand anything you just said. No, the book is finished and selling on Kindle through Amazon. I just want a cool video to give my book a fancy introduction. One that I could edit to change author name, title etc. I like the idea the first reply gave me. Thanks for that.
Hi all, I have a book that I wrote and am currently selling on Amazon. I would like a video to introduce it on my website. Does anyone have a video for something like this? The book is about internet marketing and social networking if that helps.
Also, how do I use these movies? I only have Windows Live Movie Maker installed on my pc. Is there some free software that you guys recommend for me to download so I can edit these videos?
Thanks in advance for your input!
I somewhat agree. I’m a GR author, and I am in the process of making PSD web designs, since I don’t have time to code anything at the moment. I actually was just in the process of figuring out where the heck I upload my files, and found myself on ThemeForest. Interesting.
I’m not sure if they even looked at the template. Well maybe, but 7 minutes. Dang! It takes me 2 minutes just to unzip (files).
Oh my goodness, I can’t believe I didn’t see the info about preview image sets. Would that be enough reason for them to hard reject someone (because the previews were too large, and I didn’t use the right naming rules)?
Themeforest is so much different than GraphicRiver.
I just submitted several of my PSD designs, all to get hard rejected in less than 7 minutes! That was incredible, since all of my GraphicRiver items go through a minimum 12 to 14 day review. I also noticed that the upload form only has options for the main file, thumbnail, and screenshot images. Is there supposed to be an upload field for the 590×300 preview image? When I was looking through all of PSD designs in the library, they all have a 590×300 preview image. Or, am I supposed to put that image in the zip file of screenshot images? Confused here, since the other categories I’ve checked have the option to upload a preview image.
What? I couldn’t even tell the delay problem was even fixed. Most of my items are simple addons for Photoshop. Even those have taken 10 to 14 days to be reviewed. Something is off here.
Totally appreciate the hard work put in by the review team. We tend to get impatient at times but we should all be grateful to the envato team for a such a great opportunity to provide us with a platform which not only showcases our talents but gives a wider market to reach out to people all across the globe. Keep up the good work guys and whiners should turn it down a notch.
I think it’s perfectly okay to whine. Since I’ve joined this site, every item has taken a minimum of 10 days, and up to 15 days. THAT was before the delay. I do understand the reviewers have a lot of work to do, but so do we.
Ok that clears things up a LOT. Thanks for the in depth explanation. No, I am not using either of those programs since most of my work requires Photoshop, therefore I’ve had to make the template from scratch.
