Hi MedioWorks,
As per the Forum Rules freebies are not allowed to be posted on the forums.
A Note on Self Promotion
Because of the commercial nature of the Envato networks, authors are expected to understand and respect the fact that using the forum to post links to one’s own items, or to give away free files to the community, is not allowed. This practice effectively undercuts the hard work of all authors who wish to sell their items fairly, and as such it is not tolerated.
Because of this I have removed the link(s) and am going to ahead and lock this now, Thank you for your understanding!

It’s not something that can be done automatically, You’ll need to copy & paste the updated code you edited on your profile IE the “Check Out my other Designs!” section onto any future items if you wish. Hope I understood your question correctly.

I just tested it and liked a few random items and no referral links were added automatically.

According to the Licensing Terms -
The Regular License grants you, the Purchaser a non-exclusive, non-transferrable right to make use of the work that you acquire (Work).
Your use of the Work, under the Regular License, is subject to the following conditions:
(a) Your use of the Work is limited to a single application.
(b) Where the Work is an installable software application designed to help perform singular specific tasks, the use of the Work is limited to a single concurrent usage. In these cases, the “single application” of the Work is its installation. Examples of Works where the output can be used on many projects as long as only one copy of the Works is running at any one time are:
- Flash .MXP (extension)
- PhotoShop .ABR (brushes)
- PhotoShop .GRD (gradient)
- PhotoShop .PAT (pattern)
- PhotoShop .ASL (style layer)
- PhotoShop .ATN (action)
- PhotoShop .CSH (custom shape)
- TrueType .TTF (font)
- OpenType .OFT (font)
- PostScript .PFM (font)
(c) You may use the Work alone or you may incorporate the Work into another work you are creating.
(d) Unless you have our prior written consent, you must not directly or indirectly license, sub-license, sell or resell or provide for free the Work or offer to do any of these things. All of these things are referred to as Resale.

I would say its a personal preference thing, Obviously you don’t want to be doing them in a small resolution like 800×600 if you’re going to be selling them on the marketplace but the above suggestions are good. I would work as big as you can but not overly big Just enough so that you have the option to downsize to the standard resolution sizes if you wish to sell them like that or have the choice of selling the larger copy.
Perhaps it might be an idea to take a look at 10 – 20 of the top sellers in the backgrounds category to get an idea of what sizes they are using and including and then from there you can decide what resolution you want to use for the end product for sale.
For reference here are common desktop resolution sizes -
Widescreen:
1024×600
1280×800
1366×768
1440×900
1600×900
1680×1050
1920×1080
1920×1200
2560×1440
2560×1600
Standard:
800×600
1024×768
1280×960
1280×1024
1400×1050
1600×1200
