Who’s willing to drop a comment on my new track in old pop-house style but still modern.
White background – very bad idea. Everything looks like a mess.
Can I get the invite? Thanks
I believe the issue is that before you were getting the commission for the item and for the payment fee but Envato removed the payment fee e.g.
$20 item + $2 payment fee / is you got 50% commission then you would have got $11
Now$20 item / 50% commission, only $10 to you
No, that’s not what I meant. But thank you for trying to solve my problem. Stuff has not yet replied even if I requested staff reply.
Well, with old earnings calculator I had 52% earnings of sold item but with new calculator, now I have 51%. Can somebody explain me what happened? Thanks
Hi to all.
I, as the author of the Envato network, as well as many other authors here, I’ve been hit by the copyright infringement by some of my templates posted on the website for illegal distribution and illegal acquisition of financial assets.
Due to forum rules I’m not going to put those links here, but I got their email address that has been used in illegal purposes, such as for contact form and for receiving money on PayPal.
As the author and colleague, I have many times wrote to Envato support and send them links of your work because I have will to help.
The reason I wrote this is to invite you to join us together in this fight and wrote to Google and PayPal and explain to them that their email address has been used in criminal purposes. If we join together, perhaps we can take them down, or at least make it more difficult to steal from us and gain illegal profits.
I urge all authors to write me via the contact form in order to give email address and site link. Consider this: many but MANY of you has been foolish and literally robbed on that site. Let’s take down those mother*s!
The rhythm guitar sounds ok to me. It’s not very realistic but a distinct sound on its own – like the M1-house-piano. The sample-quality of the lead guitar is not that bad, but no guitarist would play it that way. It’s not “guitaristic” enough to cheat the ear.
You made a good point and I am aware of this but of course it wouldn’t sound naturally because it’s coumputerized but it has used live samples of guitar and also guitar rig…The point of my thread is not to complain about guitar sample, the point is to show reviewers that this track sounds good, that people like it, that will have success since has a great energy and nice number of likes
I will change samples but I will not remove the point of song- natural pop rock sound that can be used very successfully.
I’ve heard electronica and trance tracks with similar electronic guitar tones. Reviewers have opinions and critique tracks as they see fit, doesn’t mean its a bad track. The guitar track doesn’t sound out of place to me, depending on the genre its set in, plus how open minded the reviewer is I’ve had my issues with review rejections (soft/hard), shake it off, make changes if you feel like it, then write more music to upload. Its their music library with a set agenda and guidelines, they’re out there to make money as a business, doing the best they can so we have to play by their rules to earn that cut. Good luck to you. Cheers!
What really problem with the reviewers is that they don’t have established system of requirements, design or exactly pointed quality. They are just free to use their personal judgmental do they personally like or not like the sound/sample/track, since here on AJ,there some is very low quality songs/samples/instrumental and I am not pointing on anybody, just making conclusion by hearing. Of course, I am not professional musician but I am not def as I can hear that also my track isn’t super super great quality but it has a really strong energy that is proven by posting on sound cloud and getting likes and shares….
The guitar samples do sound a bit “amateur” really. The song has great potential tho I think. Heres an idea: try doing a more electronic sound, replace the clean guitar sounds with electronic plucks or arps and the distorted parts with synth stabs. Do some sidechain pulsing, a stronger bass part and you’re all set! I know this might sound a bit drastic since you were going for more of an acoustic pop sound, but I believe the song would greatly benefit from an electronic approach. Good luck!
P.s. I’m originally a guitar player and I tend to be very strict when it comes guitar sound.
And try not to compare your sound design to the songs you think are of less quality.
Semblance, thank you for your time and opinion, I really appreciate. I never said that I am professional guitar player or musician I just like to compose and make something new.
I will try to take your advice but maybe not on this track since, as you notice, this is pop natural sound kind of track.
