Congrats Iluzie & Vovkacg! Well deserved guys
It’s sad to see that our opinion doesn’t count We completed a survey, and we unanimously agreed (with perhaps two or three exceptions) that these badges simply don’t fit on this market. Please do something and give us some simple and pro looking badges, or just remove them. Right now, they all look the same. I was anxious to get the star for the 4th year membership, and I just received another cake Not to mention the paws. There is no joy to get to the next level anymore.
Broadcast uses should have a different license from those given for Youtube or blogs. That’s the most essential need for Videohive. Given the new licenses model in Audiojungle, it’s a nice opportunity to open this dialogue for Videohive too.
That’s the point. AJ formula has many flaws and I’m not saying that it should be applied on VH as it is. However, we do need better and less confusing licensing options. A broadcast license is a must in our field, and should have a fair price.
I hope to see one of Felt’s essays here
We cannot put a date on any tweaks or updates because there’s many other projects in the works that require our attention, but that also doesn’t mean that we’re closing the door on this project.
We know you have plenty of work, but I hope this will be one of your priorities. It is essential for us to have a professional looking profile page, and right now – with all due respect, our profile pages doesn’t look good. I agree with everyone else – these badges are too childish and don’t fit well on this market. Thanks.
Just got the money via SWIFT. I suppose the delay has been related to the Assumption Holiday (the banks were closed on Friday 15th).
We didn’t receive the money either (SWIFT). Anyone else?
i still recommend envato somehow separate out/highlight in a “VIP/Platinum Projects” area, the top-done projects, rotate a dozen a week or so, from previous top projects, to reward all of you who’ve put so much work into the truly epic/detailed projects
That would be a great idea. Thanks Ken. I’ve seen many outstanding projects of old and new authors alike, that were lost in the crowd. This, and an improved search system, an improved rating system and the list goes on. Not to mention the pricing policy. I don’t think cutting of the extended licence from 10x to 3x was a good move. Or at least it should be differentiated. Large companies come here and get broadcast projects at insane rates for national TV stations, or even million movie productions (we have several examples). Anyway, we have the same amount of sales and earnings (or even worse) as in previous years, even if the number of projects increased. So yeah, somehow we’ve lost the motivation.
