This is great! It went right into my favorites.
Haha! Thanks guys!
Yes it was a great feeling seeing the balance move up like that with one sale. Need more sales like that!
It might be genre… I had a holiday song approved in 10 minutes over the weekend. I was pleasantly surprised!
Yeah, I looked into tunesat and it doesn’t seem worth it unless I’m selling tons every month. Hopefully someday!
After 5 months, I got my first extended license sale on my item Heavy Metal Frequency! I’m so excited! How do you guys who have gotten and ex. lic. sales cope with not knowing where it’s being used? The curiousity is killing me!
Thanks for the quick reply and advice, I will definitely report this to google. Is it fruitless to contact the site admins asking them to remove it? I will probably try anyway, but still being a newbie to this scene, I treasure the advice of you experienced folk.
I’m not sure what I should do here… I just found one of my songs available for download on BeeMP3.org. It IS the watermarked AJ version, but obviously it doesn’t sit right with me. Before I go off on them, I was curious if anyone has dealt with something like this? What is the right approach to getting it removed? Should I ask Envato for help?
I’ve always got something bouncing around in my head. If I don’t capture it quickly I usually lose it, so I will hum into my phone or use my pocktband app (a crude but useful android midi app). Then when I get into my studio I’ll work it out more.
Other times I’ll get inspiration while playing guitar, or by messing around with sounds from my software libraries. Sometimes one sound can spur an idea for a whole song.
I also get inspiration from jumping on soundcloud and searching out music that I usually don’t listen to. It helps me think about music in different ways. There’s always something to learn!
My favorite is the Museum of Natural History. Also check out Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in Times Square!
