Best is a relative term:) It is really up to you what you feel is best for your budget and needs. I use a M-Audio Oxygen 88.

Even though I use mac for editing film & audio …and for recording/composing, I hope one day that the PC becomes more of the industry standard, doubt that’ll happen though. Has more potential.

My absolute favorite brass and with a not so bad price is Project Sam’s library. I have yet to own the “perfect” string library yet. One day …one day:)
