Hi Joe Are you still looking? – if so, could be interested, I’m a designer based in Lincolnshire. cheers, Paul
Hey Paul, yes still looking! Could I have a look at the sites you’ve designed?
And I’m just down the road in Nottingham!
Hi there! First off, I’d just like to say hello and sorry if this is in the wrong forum, I saw requests for web designers here so I think I’ve got it right!
ANYHOW, I’m looking for a web designer for a partnership into theme development. I’m a web developer and I’m in the later stages of making a custom framework for themes, but now I need a designer to really take this off the ground.
You don’t need front-end experience, I can handle all of that – you just need to be creative and trend-conscious and obviously have a good eye for design!
A little bit about my vision: I’m currently a freelance developer and I’ve become pretty skilled in WordPress development, and I’d like to take this to the next level and start building WordPress themes to be sold on ThemeForest! I have the complete development side down, but I’m not particularly creative enough to be able to take on the design side. The profits would be split between us (we’d talk about that), and for now, I’d probably be looking to turn over a theme each month.
I’m not sure if I can post Skype details on here, but if someone can confirm, I’ll add it in.
Thanks! Joe
Yeah. I second this. That’s pocket change to any professional WordPress developer, unfortunately!
It’s nice at the moment but I think there’s a few things I’d change before I would submit it – the main thing that stood out to me was the font choice at the foot of the page. It’s a little pixellated – I’m not sure if that’s accurate or whether it’s the PNG, but it’s a little difficult to read!
Other than that, aside from maybe a few colour tweaks etc, it looks nice. I’d suggest perhaps posting a working copy so people can look at the code, too?
Hope it helps!
