Since a lot of themes offer very similar additional functionality (like social media widgets, portfolios, shortcodes) it would seem to me that it would be a good idea to have a standardised plugin that contained all of those basic features. It would make things a lot easier for buyers since they wouldn’t have to re-enter content when they change from one social media icon plugin to another (e.g. switching from a themezilla theme that uses the zillasocial plugin to a themebeans theme that uses the beansocial plugin).

I think there are two spaces left as we’ve released two themes and so has another author. In theory we can only qualify once for the “first 20” – leaving two spaces left to fill :)

Interesting. My themes just been soft rejected for the description d’oh!

Why not just use the built in menu system? wp_nav_menu

Sure you can do that like this http://jsfiddle.net/ws5Sg/5/ I’m not sure why it’s adding the little extra bit under the image though…

You don’t need a plugin to do this, it can be achieved with some simple CSS . I’ve made a demo here http://jsfiddle.net/VEdXF/4/

Isn’t it 136,961 items across all the marketplaces? So it includes themeforest, activeden, graphicriver etc.

Does anyone else find the links hard to read? They’re not very clear in Chrome on Windows 7, seems to look ok in FF though.
