So basically it’s an alternative to manually editing the FLA to change content and settings.

And a great alternative at that – it’s the easiest “language” (way of structuring data, if you wish) I’ve ever seen. There’s no excuse for not understanding XML – when it’s properly written, generally anyone is able to edit it.

1.) Customers expect so much in exchange for offering so little.

I agree. As the prices are so low, costumer support should be given accordingly. If you buy a wine at the store, you decide to drink it without first finding some proper food to go with it and it tastes like pee when you mix it with pizza, then you won’t call the supermarket for a refund either.

FlashDen’s support standards are (waaaay) high, perhaps even too high. Many costumers are great, but there’s quite a few rotten apples expecting too much as well.

The best thing you could do right now is mail back with “please read the documentation, it is all explained in there” or something.

Also, make sure you keep it short. Don’t waste a lot of time while it’s all in the documentation anyway. He’s giving you an attitude, it’s only rational that you feel annoyed.
