It used to be that they “shipped today”, but the last few years Apple has been a bit slacking on this part. Still quite fast, though. I got mine at the 2010 release, and I think it took.. 2-3 weeks, perhaps? It’s definitely worth the wait, though. And if the release disappoints, you can always get the 2012 model at a much cheaper price when the new one has been released

greenline saidAh i see, they are just insanely nuts!
I didnt understood the game, you reach 20.000 pts and then you get $100 and your score is reset to 0 ? Or after you reach the 20.000 pts you will get $100 twice a month ? Very confusingwhen you get 20 000 points, your score is reset to 0 and you receive 100$. Then you can start over from 0 points, as many time as you wish per month.![]()

Seems more likely to me than them paying you $200 a month forever after having gotten to a certain points limit. Now that would be nuts

Got my invite yesterday too
For some reason my 2010 Macbook is incapable of running the 3D goodies. I was glad to find that many of the new features arn’t US-only for a change, though. Considering there’s still no street view where I live, that’s remarkable. It’s a bit of a memory hog, though, especially in satelite or earth mode.
The graphics are really slick though – reminds me of Apple maps, without the bugs

The original post doesn’t looks for an answer. It is about GPL Vs RTL fun![]()
Then I guess I didn’t get the joke. In a time of lawyers and licenses, it strikes me as odd that someone who asks as honest question gets poked fun at. Regardless how silly the question may be if you know the contents of the various licenses by heart.
The mere fact that things like tl;drLegal and WTFPL exist proves that this is an area of confusion and frustration. Then there’s stuff like this and this, of course. Poke fun at the sea of licenses, not at users trying to sail it.

Collis posted quite a thread about GPL licensing a while ago. It provides some handy bits of information.

It’s good to see progress in the attempts to harvest energy from hydrogen fusion, and from what I read in the article there are already working prototypes of this E-cat. Awesome! 5.6x the energy input is spectacular!
Just.. don’t expect it to change your means of energy supply within the next few years. Things like this can take a really long time to develop to a point where it’s ready for common usage. The only short-term development we might see is a slight reaction on the stock exchange

That’s it. I’m encrypting all my data into encoded jpgs. Unlimited cloud storage, here I come
On a more serious note: I think they’re just assuming people will never even get close to such a figure. As long as they have enough space available to compensate for the few that do, they can just spread out the capacity. Curious as to how they’re making enough money at this point, though. I mean, storage is cheap, but not that cheap, and especially bandwidth is a pain.

Just the one. I feel that, unless necessary from an exclusivity standpoint, it works well enough to keep stuff together.
