or cubase users are succesful and don’t have to sell stock music
Don’t forget, the results have to travel more than 20.000 km, for us europeans at least.
Didn’t read all posts, so i’m sorry if this has been answered before..will the 3d marketplace also include scene files or setups for Thinking Particles, Pflow,...?
well this is not 100% on topic, but I’m still wondering why the recent Items on the AJ frontpage still don’t have a title..the other marketplaces use an unique icon for the item, AJ just have the authors avatar..and even if most of the choosen titles aren’t informative as they could be, they can give you an idea of the content…
from my expierence the way you rate the item, by hovering over the stars might lead to “errors” ..it happend to me once that i didn’t pay enough attention and voted with one star, cause of this quick and dirty mouse moving “vote & download-in less than 1 sec”-thing.. it was a 1$ item so i purchased it again and gave it 5 stars..but It might happen to others as well.
there is something else i stumbled upon while i was searching AJ for an specific item, and this may be far beyond the responsibility of the reviewers/envato but i’d like to mention it though, because i found it quite interesting to experience the search from the perspective of a customer who wants to spend some money:
I was looking for a short piece and tried the keywords “opening, intro, jingle, stinger..” and there were a lot of +30sec files, actually some of my own items :/ (cough) In this certain situation i’ve found it quite annoying after 10 minutes and gave up, but it made me think about my own descriptions.
But..and thats my point…i think that somebody who searches for something like “opening,...” does not expect and wants to see results with a duration of 2,3,4 minutes.
i guess it’s too much work for the reviewer to check if the choosen keywords are appropriate, but as said, i wanted to share my experience with the search results.
