So many people these days try to circumvent the themeforest purchase verification methods and steal support …

GPL and “free internet” is one thing.

Cheating about having purchased themes and then contacting authors for theme support is just criminal.

Customizing a theme will always take some hours of work. If you expect professional work, $300 seem to be quite low, even if you use a template to start from. However, I’m sure you’ll find quite a number of freelancers on this budget, f.ex. at freelanceswitch.com.

when I jumped over this border, my sales went from 665 to 667 sales almost at once, so I thought themeforest wouldn’t display 666 sales, e.g. credit one sale (like some houses don’t have a 13th floor) – was wrong

good luck to you, keep it up ;)

@KarmaThemes: Yes, thank you so much, but I want to know: What’s the problem with my theme? If I have to re-design, mean drop it or break current structure, I dont want that. I have polished many times for my theme but only receice same answer: Not unique. The first, I feel normal, but when I see the themes not unique than my theme, I rethink.

For now I am packing in, office is done, so I don’t have time for a review. But I have one big advise for you.

STOP COMPARING !

At least stop comparing the way you are doing it currently. Compare with positiveness! Find themes that are better than yours and measure with them. Don’t find worse themes and say “but hey, mine is better” – this will lead you nowhere.

Your main goal, if on themeforest or in life, is to get better at what you do and who you are. So if you keep finding negative examples and compare yourself to them, how will you ever ge better at what you do?

Compare yourself to great stuff and try to reach their level. Themeforest is not a goal, it’s a journey. If you realize that, you are ready to travel.

All the best,
Mel

@KarmaThemes: Yes, I know my feeling is not main here but I compared them ( my theme and approved themes).

But it’s not on you to compare themes. It’s on the reviewer to decide.

Ah okay I have been looking at that theme before. I like it a lot, it’s crisp and organized. It does take a few tweeks to get accepted, so stop complaining and get back to work fella!

Off Topic: That’s such a fantastic keyboard, I need that! The brackets come in so handy, I have to type fn+alt+8/9 for the wavy brackets… :@
Your BIOS should have a setting to disable Fn/make its functionality secondary.
- I have no idea how to do that… it’s an Apple keyboard, the brackets are not even visible on the keyboard, I had to google for the shortcut when I first used the keyboard ^
^ Mel this is why you need linux ;)

Aw you know how it is!
