Thanks for the tip. I knew this could be done but didn’t really it was quite so easy!
I just recently installed Wordpress locally in order to work on themes. This will be nice when they are up and running.
Although it might like more aesthetically pleasing to remove the default dotted border, it does pose some accessibility issues. For instance, someone who was using the tab button to navigate instead of the mouse would not be able to find your links!
Just another side of things to keep in mind.
I’m looking more for someone to create flash banners etc. that I would then implement into my own designs. Complete flash sites aren’t out of the question however, depending on client demand.
I would actually look for the subcontractor to tell me how much he/she charges.
I’m a web and graphic designer who is getting client requests for websites that involve Flash. I unfortunately am not all that familiar with Flash but would still like to be able to offer it to my clients. In short I’m looking for a stylish and reliable freelance developer to subcontract out my Flash work to.
Anyone interested? Please post with some examples of your work or send me a message.
Thanks for the suggestion…but I’m afraid this didn’t solve the problem either.
Thanks for the response.
Yes, I’ve tried clearing my cache, a hard refresh, etc. and nothing seems to work. The blog design and everything comes up for me, but instead of any content I get the error message I posted previously. I’ve even tried loading the blog on different browsers to see if that would work with no luck.
I just tried it out and I’m getting the same occurrence on all 3 of the marketplaces – ThemeForest, FlashDen and AudioJungle. None of the blogs will display correctly.
I’m kind of at a loss as to what could be going on here…
Haven’t been able to read about this contest fully because I can’t get to the blog!, but it sounds like a good idea to help build up the ThemeForest offerings.
I agree we needn’t be worried about a bunch of non-quality themes making it through…as was already pointed out, there is still a review committee in place.
It seems like other folks are able to visit the blog with no problem, but for some reason I’ve been unable to access it for the last 2 days (at least).
All I receive is a “Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here” error, even when trying to visit the blog index.
I just wanted to bring it to someones attention because it doesn’t look like anyone else is experiencing it?
Thanks for explaining all this…I think the rates seem very fair and make sense considering you’ll potentially have a large buying customer base.
I’m a bit taxed with freelance jobs at the moment, but I’m hoping I can squeeze a theme or two before long.
Thanks for this opportunity!
