My apologies, and the reason I don’t wade into license threads any more
Currently you need one license per main domain. If you run multiple subdomains within one domain, you only need one license. If you are running multiple sites on different domains, you’ll need one license for each site.
So when a refund is granted, it doesn’t come across as a “Sale Reversal”?
Correct. The only time a sales reversal will show up is when it’s an unauthorized transaction. So even if a customer legitimately purchased a file and then latter didn’t want it and went and denied the transaction with PayPal, that would still not come across as a sales reversal.
Please remember that a customer asking for a refund would never be classified as a sales reversal.
Please see this Knowledgebase article What are Sales Reversals.
A sale reversal is a transaction that has been reversed by a payment provider (PayPal, Moneybookers/Skrill or credit card provider) due to unauthorised activity on the credit card, PayPal or Moneybookers account. Transactions are reversed when the payment provider detects unauthorised activity on the purchaser’s credit card, PayPal or Moneybookers account. The payment provider investigates the account activity, makes an internal determination, and reverses the funds. They inform Envato Marketplace staff of this action, and we update the author’s statement to reflect the reversed transaction.
