Go to “Permalink Settings” and click “Save Changes” button.
What do you mean?

In your admin dashboard, under settings. It is so that wordpress can re-generate the rewrite rules for your new custom post type and allow for the new url types.

I’m not sure if this is off topic or not – but considering the number of live previews on this site -

A serious vulnerability has been discovered in versions 3.5 – 3.9 of wordpress (and Drupal) http://mashable.com/2014/08/06/wordpress-xml-blowup-dos

Any installations that don’t automatically update – please ensure you update them ASAP.

Was the theme hard rejected, or soft rejected?

If hard rejected, then it usually means that there are too many similar themes, or that the theme doesn’t meet the general standards required for the forum.

I’m not a designer, but looking at your theme in comparison to the other themes on here, it is definitely not looking as professional.

Maybe take some time to research the themes on here that do well, their styles, and look more into UX design as well. Read through the forums, as you may find helpful bits of advice scattered here and there.

Hi,

There is always the option of using wpdb to obtain back the count and userids.

$query = <<<EOF
SELECT post_type,post_author,COUNT(*) AS post_count
FROM {$wpdb->posts}
        WHERE post_type IN ('post','my_custom_post_type')
        AND post_status='publish'
        GROUP BY post_type, post_author
EOF;

$posts = $wpdb->get_results($sql);

You can then iterate through this and obtain the relevant user details.

Hi,

I am a little unclear as to what you are trying to achieve – Are you asking for the query to be ordered by total posts including custom post types, or total posts of a certain custom post type?

You can try to replace the where clause of the query by hooking to pre_user_query. function user_query_count_post_type($args){ $args->query_from = str_replace("post_type = post AND", "post_type IN ('post','cpt') AND ", $args->query_from); }
Usage ex: add_action('pre_user_query','user_query_count_post_type'); $users = get_users('orderby=post_count'); remove_action('pre_user_query','user_query_count_post_type');

We used it with a theme we bought on here and it worked. Somethings we did have to tidy up css wise as it ‘injects’ its code into the theme etc so it may not match the style completely. I have to say support is very good and usually reply within a few hours at most and seem happy to help as and when needed. It’s definitely not a cheap solution but certainly one of the best for what it does in terms of completeness. We used it with Monster Responsive Magento Theme, despite the iffy ratings that theme has had recently that certainly worked. I definitely think you need to be reasonably good at Magento and coding in general or know someone who is, but that’s more to do with the complexity of Magento than Unirgy itself.
