I like the overall style of the theme, its not boring. It does seem to be missing that special something however I believe.

This also appears on Themeforest itself on my Chrome Browser -
“Consider using ‘dppx’ units, as in CSS ‘dpi’ means dots-per-CSS-inch, not dots-per-physical-inch, so does not correspond to the actual ‘dpi’ of a screen. In media query expression: (-webkit-min-device-pixel-ratio: 1.5), (min-resolution: 144dpi) “
I’ve seen this on many many themes, and it seems to be a quite recent change in Chrome, regarding the preferred usage of ‘dppx’ as a unit of measurement.
I’m suprised that this has been added as a point to resolve, as stated – Themeforest itself has this “consideration”
The principle of using base 2 for design is a good one, as it shows the converge of maths even in the rather more abstract world of design.
Of course, one could use base 3 (1, 3, 9, 27, 81), but that would be less useful. It is interesting, as the base 2 notation, ie Binary is the notation on which all non quantum computing operates.
