Subscribe option will be very good and encouraging the authors to build some kind of audience of buyers who actually love and wait for specific content from a specific author.
And no… I don’t think it’s anything like the Follow option, I’m talking about real subscribers like in YouTube and such.

Since the buyer need to use the item first and only than rate it…
What if on any future buy (from 2nd purchase and up…) after every new purchase a nice little mini-box will appear with a notice:
” Please take a few seconds to rate your latest purchase “

So the buyer will be able to rate all the items he didn’t rate yet…

I like this idea! 
The more dynamic options for the buyer and a small extra fee for the authors.
I think this shouldn’t be for AJ only, but for other Envato market places for extra optional content.
