OlexandrIgnatov saidOnce I put a watermark on my short logo just a bit oftener – It was soft-rejected for this reason.
gballx saidYep! Especially in something like 10-20 seconds logos/idents. Just had this situation yesterday and was thinking that 10 seconds gap is too long.
Sometimes for a particular track the watermark needs to have the intervals shorter. Does anyone else sometimes find the 10 second gap too long? I try and work around a particular tempo and hit points for tracks and I try and mix the watermark just above a level that is apparent but unobtrusive yet at times it can get in the way.
Sorry, I think you cannot get success making what you don’t want. Track whritten by suppressing your soul will not sell even if you follow all trendy standards absolutely. Music is not a Lego kit! So you have to find your own niche where your music preferences will be demanded…. or try to love and enjoy creating commercial standards! (maybe I’m saying it to myself too ). About form – yes, I think the traditional form of majority of pop songs you’ve mentioned is mostly actual for commercials’ background. Good Luck! .
Mp3 128 kbps preview protects us, there is still no way to convert it to higher quality (I hope )
I suppose that if the watermark would take more stereo image and a wider frequency spectrum, it would be really impossible to remove it without making the track unusable. My suggestion: blend in some random pink noise.
If there is a real possibility to remove watermark, it could be a real problem for us. Someone of you have tried to remove it?
Putting in some pink noise could be a great solution.
I did it now by hand from two randomly choosen tracks. It much easier to do when watermark loop is put from 0sec beginning, so beware! ^)
Gorynich saidGorynych, check your email and please peply what you think, I send you an example. Guys, I’m afraid that it’s possible even without any magic software…
Don’t worry. It very difficult, may be impossible, to remove watermark clearly, I think. It seems to me it’s like remove voice from song ( minus for karaoke)
