Green_Eyes saidWell I’m 46 and I still feel 18 As for music, I wish I had access to the net, cheap hardware and software when I was dreaming of owning a synth back in 1985. I couldn’t even afford to but a Fostex X15 4 track CASSETTE TAPE recorder then. How times have changed. Age is all relative anyway. There is always someone older than you.
Sky-Productions saidLol. I am not that young as I look like. I’m 28. I am actually happy with all, but I want sales to be going a little bit better.
Dude when I got my first sale about a year and a half ago I was sooooo grateful I can’t tell you the emotion and the feeling I got when someone liked my music so much that they wanted to pay their own money to own it and use it. You can’t compare yourself to others. At least you have 6 sales, most authors don’t have that many. Keep writing and you will make more. 6 really is not shabby Plus you look like a young guy, you have TONS of time. I’m 30 and if I could’ve started making tracks when I was 20??? That would’ve been awesome, but I was trying to get signed as a singer/band the whole time.
Just think of it this way, out of ALL the tracks on here 6 people liked yours the best
Hey mate, I’m just a year younger than you, but same story, except that my first cassette tape recorder (which I still own) was a Tascam
garethcoker said...I was thinking exactly the same thing…and agree with all stated by Jamie…
Hopefully the next step will be a library purge. Long overdue. It would be awesome if the same standards that are being applied to current items be retroactively applied too to older items. I’m certain that not everyone will agree with me on this though
Also, it would be great if, before opening a new “My track’s been rejected” thread, the author would listen to the standard quality of top sellers and try to understand the differences. Some of the tracks posted for advices are quite low in audio/mix/master quality, I’m not talking about the artistic/creative side…
The new “more rejections” trend is great, because it means “more quality” and is like stating”AJ is not for amateurs” (I mean regarding the quality of the tracks, not saying that the authors have to be professional musicians or producers).
MValentino saidWow, loved the way you’ve commented, brilliant and +1.
Left and right channels are unbalanced, and there’s too much velocity on right channel/hand, on some notes it sounds like you pushed the keys with too much strenght compared to left hand part and to the overall mood of the song. Between 0:09 and 0:10 there’s an error in left hand part, a dissonant note, that you don’t find when that part repeats, so it’s confirmed as an error.
Really? Thank you
I think Cinematic-Romantic/sentimental would be ok. And leave the arrangement as is, sometimes simpler is better
Yes, thanks mihai, I’ve downloaded Zhaleika too, it will be the new AJ trend after uke
