KabbalisticVillage saidA song is public domain 50 or 70 years (depending on the coutry) after author’s death…Arvo Part is still alive so definitely no, his work it’s not public domain…
I am working on a remix/remake of an Arvo Part song and i know we can sell songs on here that are remakes of songs in the public domain….so does anybody know how to find out if an Arvo Part song is in the public domain?
JumaStudios saidThat’s one of my motives for asking…to try and make some sense of sales amounts in a wider context. I just recently dropped from 900th to about 8000th in one fell swoop!
Was asking myself the same thing…I usually look after a couple of sales on the dashboard to see which place I am on the AJ top. Currently, 1338
...are you sure? Most probably you are 900th in Audiojungle and 8000th in all marketplaces…
Grande Luca !!!
Same here, October was great for sales, but suddenly I’m on 9th day with no sales, it didn’t happened to me since my first month, June 2012.
In coincidence with new search engine…
Same here: October was my best month ever, and not only for Halloween related sales. Now it’s 8 days with zero sales, it didn’t happen to me since the first month here, I mean June 2012!
Last month, if I searched with a keyword that was also the title of one of my best selling tracks, my track was in the first 3 results, now is about 12th…and the first places are from top sellers, but they have less sales than me on that track. They are tracks that were there also last month, that means that the different result is because of the new search engine.
It looks like the new engine’s relevance criteria is the ranking of author, which is a nonsense: buyers will find always the same tracks and envato keeps a 30% commission instead of 50% or 49%...
I’m also considering to try some different marketplace…let’s see…
If you intend strictly vst (and not vst instruments) I would say Waves SSL EQ and Compressor and PSP Vintage Warmer.
Congrats my friend, really well deserved
Very well done my friend!
This is definitely amazing!
Thank you so much for sharing
But this make me think…would it be possible to develope it to search the tracks OUTSIDE Audiojungle to locate the tracks in videos on Youtube, Vimeo, etc. ?
So we could locate where buyers have used the purchased items but also non-legal users…
Great work, again!
