Just to correct the title of this topic: “LOOKING FOR PSD AUTHORS…”

Hi, I’m looking for an approved PSD author to make a partneship, we can work together with a profit rate of 50/50. What I have in mind is the following:

- I convert your approved PSD file into a fully functional and responsive website (at the moment just static HTML website, at a near future I can include WP themes into the partneship). - Your PSD sales is only yours, I only profite from my code work. - You will profit from your design in PSD sure you have =), and in the HTML version.

What am I doing this? This was a way I found to be an author here and help those without skills to profite from your designs. If you think this is the right thing for you, reply this topic or send me an email on my profile page. Thanks in advance.

@WPScientist – It’s true, as the time goes by it is becoming hard to be approved here, the level is raising and we need to walk according these requirements.

I understand your opinion but I don’t agree with it, there’s not full copy paste item, if it is so, most items here is full copy past item, most item are similiar. Is a trend in web developtment, it is a trend in computer in some general form, windows has icon, mac has icon, linux has icon almost identical just to cite as an example, but as I did before I understand your opinion.

Hi, after almost two years here on theme forest, I released my first template, for three months I dedicate myself to it, and today I received the always frustrating reply “your item was rejected”. I understand the marketplace has its quality guidelines, but I see many templates and themes around being approved in most times with a design similar to mine, but It’s ok, it estimulates me to do my best to enter in the community. You guys, do you have similiar experience? What have you done to work around this and be approved? I will past what I receive and a link to my theme I would like to receive feedback to improve it, if you can help me this way I would be glad. Thank you.

You might consider improving your design with more unique features and graphics in order for it to stand out among other marketplace items. However, a unique design will be a key factor for approval.

I know it’s frustrating to be rejected citing uniqueness but recently, we’ve gotten a large number of template with the same overall features and presentation and we have to draw the line somewhere.

However, we do accept themes with similar structure but in condition it provides better quality in terms of aesthetic or features

Still related to flickr images. In my theme I use a flickr rush jQuery plugin where I need to link to a flickr ID. Do I have to ask permission to a flickr user to be able to link to his images?

Hi guys, I was browsing some wp themes here on theme forest, then I was asking myself some these authors besides talent is lucky, because, there are so many authors here that try to sell their itens and even so it seems they don’t have the same sucess other authors do.

What make someone an elite author here is it marketing? Is to be well known in blogs and communities around the internet? I’m planning to begin uploading my itens here, I feel I am able to offer a good product, before it I am studying and searching a lot, but even so sometimes I feel worried because I am not so well known like others do, and now that I lost my job I need to earn some extra money, I need to know if take much time to begin earn something here. I hope you understand, I would like to know what you think about my thoughts. Thanks!
