Hi, I thought I would start here and post this question. What I am looking for is a CMS that I can easily integrate into a design. Preferably done in PHP with MySQL db.

Our Arts Council needs an easy way to edit pages on the site and don’t want to dao a large CMS redesign.

Thanks everyone!!!

True – WP would make it easier, maybe I will rethink my plan.

I see that they are referred to “Download Managers”.

Thanks

I was wondering if anyone can help me out with this. I have been looking around in CodeCanyon for a particular script.

Here are the details that I am looking for in the script:
  • Clients are assigned a password to log-in to their directory
  • Each client will have their own directory to download zip files or photos
  • Clients only have access to there own directory
  • To be fancy the download can be only available for a few days?
  • Clients will not be uploading anything

I can use a ftp site but I was looking for a fancier way of having my clients download there photos, contact sheets or zip files.

Thanks everyone!!

As a person who is thinking of joining PD – I would like to see a “Critique Corner” where new photographers can have links to there photos for others to critique – other microstock sites has that feature.

Thanks

Hi Dirtyflint, I am in the same boat as you. On Dreamstime people always have links to there work for input.

As stated by HarveyDesign:
Please understand that the forums is not the place to call out or make comparisons to another authors files…

@HarveyDesign Its just Dirtyflint was asking for input on his image and you say “make comparisons” – confusing.

I am not to sure if I am going to join if we cannot be critiqued by our fellow photographers.

Hello people of PD,

I am thinking of starting a portfolio here at PD. I do have one question. What type of computer does PD use to check the incoming photos before they are accepted?

The reason I ask is I just purchased a high end MAC and monitor, I figure a place like PD selling microstock photos must have good quality equipment.

Are the monitors regularly calibrated? Do you hire interns to check the incoming photos?

Thanks to PD.

Mark

I would look in Yuri Arcurs’s portfolio – looks like a Yuri shot to me :)

I want to see more community/portal stlyle templates. That is really missing here!

thousands of blog/like themes with sliders, etc. No community/portal/ just a few magazine styles.

(...)
Could you give some live examples of such community websites?

I agree!
