Sorry for the wait, it’s been quite a busy day dealing with everything. Basicaly, I have 2 news, the good one and the bad one.
But first of, I want to say that we’d like to take a chance to apologize for the way TrackForest worked for the past few days, as well as for a couple of inconsistencies we’ve had since the release.
The bad: Due to the latest changes in Envato API, we are forced to change quite a bit in order to keep TrackForest running, and as we’re already halfway through with better, faster, stronger platform we’ve decided to discontinue it.
The good: You’ve read the ‘better, faster, stronger’ part above, right? Long story short – that’s exactly what it is. You can learn more about it on LeafTrackr.io.
The ‘not-so-good’: We’re not quite there yet… However, we do hope to have it ready really soon. To make it up for the wait, we’d like to offer you 3 months of it’s premium program – Herbarium, absolutely free.
We hope this won’t make you turn your backs on us, as we’ve enjoyed every bit of support we’ve got from you all! Therefore, we’d also like to invite you to participate in our beta program, as well as to contribute with your personal ideas and thoughts. Just drop us an email if you’re up for it.
I was wondering if some of you may give me any input on this… What would you say regarding percentage of designers/design agencies buying WordPress themes vs the end-users buying the theme for their personal use?

Thanks for letting us know about the issue, it should be displayed properly now. As I said on my previous post above – a new version is right around the corner. We’ll let you all know once it’s up and running, though it’ll be quite obvious we’ve made changes, a lot of them in fact
Hi Marko, how do you pull the items to be displayed there? Our latest item got into the popular list, but is not visible on your site even though items that come after ours are listed.
We pull the themes from Envato popular page, however, there are some problems with the system since last week. We’re working hard on fixing all issues, and we’ll be releasing a completely new version of TrackForest within next couple of days. Once it’s up and running, there won’t be any inconsistencies between the themes displayed on TrackForest and ThemeForest’s popular page.
Hey guys! We’re running an AMA with Giancarlo this week on our blog so if you have API questions, ideas, or need help, I would encourage you to post any API questions via our AMA post to keep the conversation in one place and to get the fastest answers.
I tried to post comment there, but Disqus decided that my comments are spam, and removed them. I tried posting all my 5 questions from this thread at once, and one by one, but now all my comments are marked as spam. Can Giancarlo respond to my questions here, or read questions from this reply and respond in the blog post at least. My questions: http://codecanyon.net/forums/thread/introducing-the-new-envato-api/176182?page=1&message_id=1268553#1268553Milan

Is there a way to get a username via
/private/user/account.json, or via any other private call for that matter? I was looking for it but all I could find was a first name / last name combinations…
The reported -396 sales are not sale reversals, but the unpredictable bug in our system. The above mentioned theme had it’s name changed, which we were not prepared for, so we’re working on resolving it without a server downtime.
I also want to mention that you can expect a ‘2.0’ version of trackforest within next couple of days, with all bugs reported – fixed (including this one), as well as (a lot) of new features!
