This is surely a step forward in the right direction, but what about AudioJungle? Sales have dropped significantly for items which have 4 and 4.5 Stars total for no reason, because in this marketplace what you hear is what you get, nothing changes when you purchase an audio track, it’s still the same as in the preview (expect it has no watermark). Are there any plans on changing the rating system specifically for Audiojungle?
How is this coming? Still gathering data?
Just saw another thread, seems like you’re working on the Item Support tab. Is this the priority? I mean, after Item Support tab is done, you’ll be re-starting with Ratings?
After the brake-down, my best seller plugin (ex 5 Star, now 4.5 Star) doesn’t sell anymore.
I absolutely agree, My sales have dropped significantly (by out 40-50%) since the ratings breakdown appeared on the item pages.
Not to mention that the 1,2 and 3 star ratings make no sense in AudioJungle, where the customer purchases the audio tracks they already have listened to.
Please Envato, do something about this ASAP!

No doubt It’s great to hear your music on TV, but to find out that it wasn’t licensed properly is very disappointing. Unfortunately, it happens quite often, believe it or not, I have even heard my track on TV which included the AJ watermark
Give away an item for free for one month huh?
OK, What about this one: http://audiojungle.net/item/exciting-life/301676
I think one of the priorities in the AJ search algorithm is the Title of the track, then the Descriptions/tags.
If you type (for example) “Motivation” in the search field, first four tracks are with the name: “Motivation” etc.

Well it seems that the soundtracks to Videohive projects stem from an ever reducing number of Audiojungle authors.Much as I love Alberto (BeatheBeat) and Soundroll, I’m getting a bit sick of hearing the same soundtracks over and over again. It seems that as soon as a successful project gets made with a certain soundtrack, there are hundreds of authors jumping on the bandwagon, thinking that that audio will somehow magically bring them sales and success.
I think in a way, finding a new and appropriate piece of music for you motion graphics is as much a part of the creative process as the design and animation itself. The music can take you in new and unexpected directions. If you use the same as someone else has already used, you’re going to subconsciously have their animation, their timing, their work in your mind.
So here’s a thread where you can introduce your favourite audiojungle authors who don’t get used so much.
Here’s my tips for the top:
Sonority – http://audiojungle.net/user/Sonority
Melodiality – http://audiojungle.net/user/Melodality
Brandtz – http://audiojungle.net/user/brandtz
So add your favourites and let’s see if we can get a few more Audiojunglers getting a look in over here at the Hive.
Let’s hear some new sounds!

Hey felt_tips and all other VideoHive Authors!
Sorry for bumping up an old thread but I just noticed it
thanks for recommending my music for videohive projects, I really appreciate it.
I haven’t been quite active on AudioJungle for quite some time but I’m back to regular uploading several months now and have some new tracks (much more coming up) if you guys are interested in collaboration I’m up to it!
Cheers,
Michael
Hi schroedpot,
If I understand you correctly, you want to Deposit more then $100 right?
If this is the case you can deposit 2 or more times and the result will be the same (it will just be 2 transactions of $100 totaling $200). Or PayPal doesn’t allow you to do this?
Mobile is a really nice theme for the bundle, I’m sure it will bring good exposure and sales for the marketplaces. I also have another idea for the next upcoming bundle which will definitely attract lots of customers: Corporate/Business Bundle – which will include corporate and business based themes, graphics, music, AE projects and photos. I don’t think we ever had a similar bundle or am I wrong?
Nice Gadget! Looks super cool!
