@Met_creative using pictures of famous people (like Rhianna/ Beyonce etc) is against copyright because you do not have a license for those images. Regardless of whether or not you are selling the images, you are still reproducing them without the consent of the owner.

You will need to remove all unlicensed images and replace them with images that you own the licenses to. Alternatively you can use Creative Commons licenses.

We are replacing those photos with placeholders on psd files. But, We do not want to remove photos from our demo page because it is not really easy to find good pictures for our theme, in the end We are not selling those photos.They are just for preview. That is the thing we are curious about.

We’ve made a news theme.It is HTML theme and there are psd files in the package.

I’ve some questions.

We used known people pictures on our PSD files, We know this causes problems about copyright.This is a rejection cause which we know.

Images in HTML files are from placehold.it

On our demo page there are photos of obama, rihanna and some other known people.Does this causes any problem with Themeforest ? It is our demo page.

But, on demo preview image we used demo page pictures and some celebrity photos are visible. Does this cause any problem with Themeforest ?

We are currently developing a wordpress theme. We are giving non-admin pages of wordpress as demo but what about admin panels, Is there any way to give admin panels as demo, without saving their changes on database?

After my first submit, my item got soft rejected with this message:

The psd theme was an approved item, but I put more pages on HTML file.
