I think all possible solutions worth to be tried and tested..

and I’m sure many people will appreciate your effort..

But above all, basically this intellectual property problem is more about web 2.0 users and and their mindset rather than about technology.

It’s about mentality, education and perhaps economy ..

The disease is inside people’s head, not the technology.

Yes please obfuscate / domain lock / hidden php generated expiry redirect to a “please purchase a licence” page (my personal favorite) Anything you do is certainly a lot better than doing nothing at all

Even if you obfuscate the code or whatever solutions you may have thinked of, they won’t work with normal templates, there’s no solution for that, it may take some time in order to get the original code in place if you obfuscate or encode it, but that’s the only effect you can get.
