Now this template looks pretty minimalistic
It’s just a joke) NCDesigner, keep up designing and never give up!
Unfortunately I have not so much expericence in WP. Ok, I try to use this code. Thank you again, OriginalEXE
The plugin I linked to does not add additional UI fields to the tags/categories edit screen, it just enables you functionality to define meta values and bind them to specific terms.
I installed this plugin but can’t find any ways how to do this. Unfortunately there is no any detail documentation (some examples etc.), and I just can’t figure out how to use this plugin.
Could you please explain me a bit further how to use it properly? I’d be VERY grateful
Gareth_Gillman saidThank you for suggestions but this is not what I try to achieve. I want to add category-like panel with team members to portfolio items (when user creates new item or change an existing one).
This stackoverflow answer does what you need, basically you create 2 different queries (one for each post type) and then combine them into one query.
I tried to use CPT-onomies WP plugin but stuck to display thumbnails for these “attached-to-portfolio” team members.
Anyway thank you for your answer!
Also, check this plugin which implements some ideas from that discussion: http://wordpress.org/plugins/taxonomy-metadata/
Thank you quick response and suggested plugin Unfortunately, I try to bind together 2 existing CPT not add extra fields for categories etc. But thank you anyway
I guess is it possible to use a taxonomy from one custom post type (for example, team members names) to be displayed as categories or tags for another taxonomy (for example, portfolio items)? Could you please tell me if there are any ways to achieve this? And how to retreive this info in WP theme?
I tried to use several plugins to achieve this but unfortunately without success. Maybe there are some WP experts who can explain how to do this (or is it posible at all)?
Thank you very much! Have a nice day
I’ve noticed the same problem several times in different themes with Option framework inside. Just add this line to the functions.php file:
add_action( ‘init’, ‘optionsframework_mlu_init’);
Hope this help
