(I can’t edit the previous post so i’m writing this one)
i played a bit with tags etc and found that a https://vimeo.com/tag:creativecommons/sort:likes/format:thumbnail is a better way to find good quality CC videos..
Hey guys, if I understand well it’s a matter of license. You can use vimeo works if they have the Creative Common license, even without permission from the author, but giving credit as the license says, for more info: https://vimeo.com/help/faq/legal-stuff/creative-commons Browse CC videos here: https://vimeo.com/creativecommons/by
Thing is, most of the CC videos are cr*p and Vimeo offers only “sort by date” option, so it’s pretty damn hard to find anything decent. :/
Right, I guess i’ll have to spam Vimeo authors. I just hope they’re as friendly as Behance ones.
Thank you all for helping!
I’m currently collecting demo content for my new item, and i got an idea to use short (couple of seconds) cuts of videos from Vimeo. Could that be considered as ‘fair use’?
I’ve noticed that couple of high selling themes used Vimeo videos in the past(self hosted; not embedded), not sure if they got the permissions form authors.
Bx-slider. Great out of the box features and it’s easy to customize.
@FinalDestiny: yeah, I agree with you! But some people find it easy to get some inspiration from Movies and Games
Meh, movies are only good as working background noise or as an excuse to call your gf over(wink wink nudge nudge). And most of the games today are just chore fest “grind for 10 hours to be able to grind for 10 more; loop;”.
