What you need to do is add a new meta field to handle these dates instead of editing the post date field. The post date field is used in lots of different ways and is expected to be in a certain format. In terms of plugins to help you do this, “Advanced Custom Fields”?

What you’re looking for is too specific (at least in my opinion) for an author to build and release a script for.

The script would have to represent a good return on investment and even if it was marketed at the price point you suggest there wouldn’t be enough interest to make it worthwhile.

50% of a lot is much better than 100% of nothing! 50% or 30% as your sales grow is a small price to pay for the traffic and visibility of your items. Try selling them on your own site and compare.

That’s some pretty specific and unique functionality. You’ll probably need to hire someone to build a custom plugin for you.

Take a look at “Custom Metaboxes and Fields for WordPress”: https://github.com/WebDevStudios/Custom-Metaboxes-and-Fields-for-WordPress

Get the excerpt doesn’t accept any parameters (frustratingly). You need to use wp_trim_words and get_the_content to get the excerpt by ID.

OK I would do it like this:

Plugin
$colour_options = array( 'red' => 'Red', 'blue' => 'Blue', 'white' => 'White' );
$builder_config = apply_filters( 'wpt_builder_colour_options', $colour_options );
Theme -
function wpt_add_colour_options( $colour_options ) {
    $builder_config['yellow'] = 'Yellow';
    return $builder_config;
}
add_filter( 'wpt_builder_colour_options', 'wpt_add_colour_options' );

In the example you gave change $foo = ‘bar’;

to

$foo = apply_filters( ‘foo_filter’, ‘bar’ );

You would then use

function filter_foo_variable( $foo ) { return ‘bar’; } add_filter( ‘foo_filter’, ‘filter_foo_variable’ );

Let me know if that helps :)

Are you registering the post types in your own code or using a plugin?

Add the labels and the correct name will be shown.

Hello there ! What do you think about wordpress future, for how long wordpress will be top 1 CMS. What is your opinion about wordpress future ?

It’s still growing at a tremendous pace. I can’t say that it will always be the top CMS but certainly for the foreseeable future.
