Hi, yes, there is, but nothing integrated in WordPress. You will have to code it yourself. Simply register your metaboxes, hide them all via css and then add the JS listener to page template select field, and display appropriate metaboxes based on the value of the select.
Thank you for you help, Do you have any good tutorial i can read?

Not that I know of, sorry. It’s pretty basic js.

Please read this below

Also, Woothemes continued giving lifetime updates and support to customers who purchased before they changed their contracts. Would you do that?

1) UK Govt on sales of digital content- Make sure you make clear all costs, including potential ones they may incur in the future. If you cannot give a firm cost upfront, you must show on what basis the final cost will be calculated. With regard to returns, you must make clear that the consumer must pay for returns if they cancel, unless you are willing to pay for that cost. If the item is not normally returnable by post, you should give an indication of how much it would cost the consumer to return.

Your reply makes no sense.

1.) It mentiones “returning via post” so it is obvious it’s not referring to the digital products. 2.) Noone is forcing you to pay anything, you can continue to use the product you bought for as long as you want. ONLY if you want the updates, you have to pay additional sum.

The above will throw error if woocommerce is not installed (because function is_woocommerce_activated will not exist).

5) Ignoring that a number of theme and plugin shops then moved to lifetime, because they called woothemes a bluff. Who are you (not billyf, but people who are questioning this), to say that they are not relevant? I just bought AffiliateWP from Pippin when he released a lifetime license

Yeah but you forget to mention the fact that you paid 2.25x more (even 10x more if you take into account that the cheapest licence for only one site) for that lifetime licence, no? So by that logic, you should be in favour of raising all of TF and CC prices up by 2.25?

As Chris Lema blogged recently about it (probably enticed by Pippin releasing a lifetime licence option), lifetime licence makes sense, but only if your immediate gain is larger or equal to the average gain you would have with a yearly/monthly subscription model.

Now, since you are taking them as an argument (and we should, those guys know what they are doing), we either need to have yearly licence renewal, or increase our prices.

The majority of the big players are using the most popular slides (layer, revo) so it won’t have that much impact.

Quite a few use their own page-builders and sliders already. And those that don’t will just add these to there existing framework. Then how will you compete?

If its your theme minus any good plugins against AVADA / Enfold / Bridge et al with free built in mega plugins I know which one I would buy.

Plugins keep you competitive. Why should everybody have to reinvent the wheel?

This could be solved by increasing the price for those themes that come with their own custom page builder/slider builder.

Instead of providing a support solution (which is really complicated and would take months), why not provide us with OAuth login that we could use to log-in customers and gain acces to basic details like active licence etc.

That way customers can easily log-in to any support solution with their existing Envato account.

It was available for purchase for a limited time, but I don’t think that’s active anymore.

Follow them on Twitter to find out if they ever enable purchases again.
