A PDF proof needs to show bleed and crop marks (and sometimes registration marks). It gets sent to your client for approval. It’s a way to ensure both you and the client understand how it’s going to look after printing.

There are a number of options you can use in Acrobat, like color densities and CMYK renderings to predict how the final print will look in a CMYK environment. Adobe Indesign has a great PDF exporting system since it can account for bleeds & slugs. Photoshop requires a little bit more effort to achieve the same proofing standard.

Those people downloading GR files for free were NEVER going to buy your file in the first place. It’s the same with music piracy (research proves it). We give them too much attention and too much credit. Like many have said on here, if you block one way, they’ll find another.

For people stealing your files and re-selling them…well…that’s a different story.

Don’t really know hard numbers on my budget. I’m needing 1 ad in 3 different sizes. I would say $100-$150 for the 3 variations? Not really familiar on how to budget for flash.

Re-Submit your file. Contacting support takes way too long. It’s just easier to re-upload and re-submit.

Does anyone know the best way to hire a freelancer to create 3-10 flash banners with various sizes under strict specifications? I have a client requesting and I’m wise enough to know Flash isn’t my thing.

P.S., please do not say Microlancer…it’s an abomination IMHO
