It makes me sick to my stomach. The value of music is constantly being belittled and overlooked.

Just curious, how can you say a comment like this while being a published author on www.AudioJungle.com? Don’t see anything wrong with the logic here? Almost as backwards as selling a license which has no implication of credit, then complaining when you don’t get credit.

I think the point is that someone else has been credited (name in titles for music and SFX) for someones elses work :) Yes we are selling licences and customers dont have to credit us but if i buy a licence to someones track and put my name under it saying i´m the author – thats not only unfair but its also against law because we are the copyrights owners, not the buyers :)

Well, thats not good at all :( (Personall i´ll be so angry i will kick a giant rhino in his balls while playing a guitar solo in front of a nuclear blast!)

You should probably contact the video game developers and “kindly” ask them to make some corrections in the credits fields …

I know they don´t have to put our names in some credits but if they do it should be with correct names! Some developers using my RF music from AJ in their projects sent me an email to get my real name for credits and i helped them to spread the games / videos etc. to some of my social profiles to get more audience for the project.

Good luck! :)

Interesting. My friend – a brand new author – is waiting for review for more than 3 days now with his very first song! :/
My friend had similar thing with his new account. They even wanted him to provide a video recording of him playing session file of the submitted tune in his DAW to prove its made by him. So yeah, they take extra time I guess.
What? Are you serious? Well then it may be more interesting than i thought ´cos my friend is not using any DAW but a kind of 8-track tape recorder and i´m helping him with mastering and preparing the files in PC for upload :D

now thats more interesting, 8 track tape recorder? no daw? no computer? Thats some major old school business. Just thinking about it makes me a bit claustrophobic ;) probably cause there is no wifi on the 8 track.. but anyway, best of luck guys :)

ps.curious to hear those tunes
LOL thanx :D I recommend him a PC and souncard with some LE DAW included … the only difference between that 8 tracks recorder (+ some simple drum mashine) and DAW is that DAW has much more editing features :) The output sounds very similar :) Hopefully reviewers will approve his songs so you can hear it – still in que for 3+ days :)

“The world’s most productive musician” at 100 songs a year? We’ve got quite a few guys here at AJ who I’ve seen upload 200-300 tracks a year! Now that’s what I call peer pressure!

Exactly! :) Including myself – produced 200+ tracks last year for AJ and other sites + 7 mid-lenght documentary movies (full sync soundtracks) and several songs for bands and solo singers :D

But great article anyway … i like the part with coffe and sleeping (which is actually bit hard for me ´cos my little newborn princess) :D

And yes – discipline! Thats the most important thing in production at home – the procrastination devil is sometimes really strong:)

CHA! :)
