why not create an array of your image names then randomize the array removing each element as it is displayed. then once your array is empty recreate it. that way it you can be sure it is random and there will be know duplicate images loaded.

I just realised I was doing it a harder way.

Here is a very simple way of doing it.

PHP :

if ($_GET[‘frame’] != null) { $frame = $_GET[‘frame’]; settype($frame, “integer”); } else { $frame = 1; }

HTML in PHP :

Add this onto the end of the flash file name: flash.swf?loadframe=<?=$frame?>

FLASH First Frame:

stop(); gotoAndStop(loadframe);

so basically you have your page index.php and that has a swf in it with 3 frames and you want to pass a var (framenumber) to the swf from the url index.php?frameNum=2 and then for that to be passed to flash?
