Thank you once again, a bit more work to do, hopefully Ill get there soon. Cheers Peter
Sorry for the late reply.
Looks better the line work better than before, but the line above the main vertical one needs to be thicker to match the vertical one better.
The hole that were on the side should come back as it looks too plain with out it.
Would be nice if the bottom of the ship looked more like it would in the water does not have to be the same on each side.
below is quite a nice example that is similar to yours this should help bring your design to lifethe sun is not centered which looks a bit strange.
I have updated the logo I will work on color and typography once symbol is improved. thank you for you time. Cheers Peter
Thank you DarkstarDesigns for your constructive critic and for taking the time to review. You have been a great help. Cheers Peter
To me the white line are not strong enough they need to be thinker or they wont hold up well when the logo is smaller
The sun need improving as it is quite pixelated may work being solid with a white stoke around the ship.
The ship could be made more exciting bit more curve to the lines.
Over all you have a good base just needs to be refined, the blue orange colour way works best you need to choose others that complement the design better as the red and blue looks weak.
Check out some of these logos and look at the flow of the line that help bring the logos to life and make them more emotivehttp://graphicriver.net/search?utf8=%E2%9C%93&category=logo-templates&new_term=ship Hope i was of some help
I had this logo rejected (no reason given), could I please have some feedback on how to improve or maybe move onto another project. Thank you in Advance
Also remember that when printing that logo the small details for the windows for example will disappear or will all be a mess in paper. And as for another tip, the size of the graphic element compared with the size of the fonts will give you problems also. ( those two are the two most common – apart from choice of fonts ) reasons for rejection.
thank you for taking the time to view my request. Cheers Peter
thank you hawkmax for your helpful critic, I appreciate it
thank you DzincStudio, works great, very handy, I will use this to showcase elements. Cheers Peter
I would like to get some critic on this logo which has been rejected. Any suggestions to improve would be appreciated or maybe it’s not worth re-submitting. It would help if the reviewer did give some indication on what needs improving, instead of giving an automated response.
This is the reviewers remarks.
Unfortunately your submission Urban Spire Logo isn’t quite ready for GraphicRiver and requires significant improvements and changes before it can be resubmitted and reconsidered.
Additionally, we have some extra feedback for you:
Unfortunately your submission doesn’t meet our current minimum quality requirements for the category it was submitted to. Please consider taking some time to familiarize yourself with our current library and quality levels of popular items before resubmitting.
We appreciate your submission and look forward to seeing your future submissions.
Thank you Peter
Well, for that, the prices should be even MUCH higher than $20, but let’s not touch that at the moment, it’s a looong discussion LOL
Yes I totally agree with you, but at least it’s a step in the right direction, even with the significant price increase it is still a bargain.
It’s a good thing the prices are increasing, the prices have been very low, the main thing is not to undervalue our industry which is very important, I think we will all benefit in the future.
