Well, apparently Envato knows Rainn Wilson (and vice versa): https://youtu.be/_4N9iLfO9_E

He would totally do it! :D

i’m wrong ? http://themeforest.net/licenses/faq#item-preview-without-license-a

Ahh, yes you’re absolutely right! Thanks for pointing us to it!

Does the Regular License allow me to use an Envato Market item in my item preview?

Yes. This is the option to use if you don’t want to include a watermark in your item preview. But remember not to include the item in your own item’s download.

Interesting. Well, a part of the VH review process should then be that the VH author is required to provide proof of license to the reviewer somehow, while not allowing that proved license be a part of the downloadable zip file to the buyer.

Apparently there is some confusion on whether this is allowed or not. Need a staff member to weigh in on this.

I notice every once in a while unwatermarked AJ songs placed on VH projects. I usually notify the AJ authors, but since it is actually not their fault…

...I’d like this to be a call to wake up VideoHive reviewers: VH reviewers, this does not help protect our music. We’d appreciate you paying attention to this when reviewing.

Thank you! :)
Phil

Before we know it, they’ll be the highest sales-ranked author (cue laughter sound effect).

I believe it would be against the rules if you are an exclusive author. Though you could open a non-exclusive account and put them there.

The images aren’t free, that’s just a publicity stunt to promote the movie.

Oh, ha. Well, maybe Envato could still do something like this. It would be great exposure for the Market. Anybody know any movie stars?? :bigwink:
