Congratulations mate! Best wishes for you and your team and I hope that next year you are celebrating another achievement
Your new image is looking good and your products are getting better too. Cheers
KarimOnTheGo saidYou were not rude, but it seemed that you hate ‘developers’
Thank you for your response. Sorry if I was rude.
It is important for us authors that buyers have a good opinion about the Marketplace generally so, if you need help in the future, make sure that you pick the right person for the right job (I know that it is not easy sometimes).
And back on topic I do agree that some lines of CSS or some simple scripting should be “given” for free.
KarimOnTheGo saidYes anyone can do this, but being being called ‘a developer’ by others is a bit harder. And when someone pays you any fee or buys your products theat person expects that these “things” that you develop should work.
Or can anyone call themselves a ‘developer’?
I don’t know if I understood in a wrong way, but it seems that you are a bit upset with this thread. Actually, so upset that this is your first post
Anyway, my personal experience: when you have very few time and don’t sleep as many hours as you should, $50 of hourly rate is not that much.
Some time ago I had a theme that was disabled too. Did I got any warning or email? No… And after contacting support I knew the reason: it had some HTML validation errors (a user opened a ticket after me having sent over 45 support emails to him).
It was kind of a joke to me, because most of the best selling themes here have these errors
I understand that “Envato” can’t test all errors/bugs that buyers complain about, but talking to the author before disabling the theme always sounded more fair to me.
This is a general forum so you shoud go to the theme comments and ask the author about that. Cheers!
Let’s have a cold beer. Good luck with the next 2.000
