Hi There,
How do you integrate WordPress 3.5 Theme Customizer to output the styles? I’m working with the following,
https://gist.github.com/2968549I’m displaying the output using the action wp_head,
function example_embed_customizer() {
echo '<style type="text/css">';
echo '</style>';
}
add_action( 'wp_head', 'example_embed_customizer' );
The problem i’m trying to get my head round is, i would have to pretty much strip the css in my original style.css stylesheet and be left with the layout styles, all the colours e.t.c. would be echoed in the wp_head.
So when the user activates the theme, the theme is shown at its bare minimum, what i mean by this is, all of the colour styles are shown in the wp_head but because the user hasn’t saved and published the theme customizer the wp_head style output is wrong, even when i use default options for the customizer the user must make an edit to show the correct css/styles.
How do you output the css? After changing the original style.css and moving them to show in the header i have ended up with alot of code and quite frankly its a mess.
I would be interested in knowing what your approach is to the Theme Customizer and displaying the results.
Cheers
Hi,
Lol, i only just realised my theme is the oldest or first listed in it’s category (5 May 10) , looks like the older ones got withdrawn, making mine the category legend! ??
There is no real point to this thread, i know some users complain about not getting enough publicity for their item, or not having enough time on the homepage, i must admit i have barely done any marketing and assume traffic comes from ThemeForest and affiliate urls. I still get sales with my product even though its two years old and last in it’s category.
My advice is to provide the best support you can and update your product often, customers will find your product and if they like it, they will buy it!
Thankyou Envato for providing an excellent service and income source
Cheers

In previous version, I could drag at the bottom-right corner of text box to expand the area (I’m using Chrome) but right now it seems like the text box size is locked. I can’t drag it anymore.
Yes, please make the text box resizable. To be honest i actually preferred the old design, at the moment its hard to distinguish the comments and i’m already missing the corner badges
I’m also surprised in a way that a visual editor hasn’t been added.

OMG!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0jgrCKhxE1sHi,
I believe you would need to purchase the Extended License and ask permission from the author.
You may license, sub-license, sell, resell or re-distribute the Work or offer to do any of these things (together referred to as Resale) in the following circumstances:
iii. you use the Work alone as a Limited Re-Purposing, but only if: (‘A’) you first obtain the permission of the author of the Work; and (‘B’) the Resale of the second work is only made on an Envato marketplace. A Limited Re-Purposing means that you use the Work alone and modify it for Re-sale as a tool, template, or stock item, or with source files.
Cheers

I think it is more because full screen layouts are not something you associate with e-commerce websites.
+1 I think this to especially for photography based sites, however i don’t see why a salon or a small niche couldn’t go with a fullscreen website.
Hi,
Can i suggest Gateways as a subcategory for the WordPress eCommerce plugins section, i feel that the payment gateways should be separate to other modules that are created.
WordPress > e-Commerce > Gateways
WordPress > e-Commerce > WooCommerce > Gateways
Thanks
