Happy birthday; have a great one! =D
Attending freshers week at university this week. Got into a flat and building with some awesome people that I have already become great friends with. We’ve had some awesome events, such as a hypnotist show, Milton Jones (a british comedian), and some insane parties.
Getting to grips with my own cooking is hard, but I’m sure I’ll get better and be cooking great meals with my flatmates by the end of the year =)
What are you guys up to? =P
Paypal is still used at a lot of places for receiving payments… But i’ve noticed over the past few years the use of paypal has decreasedOright guys, someone really needs to explain to how does all this process work. It was also great to see the live stream, and hear from the likes of collis, drew, jeffrey, parallelus to name just a few. It was clear that you all had a great time, and it was great to hear about some of the upcoming new sites, and tweaks and so on, and some of your guys thoughts.
Would love envato to visit europe next time though =) America is a bit far away for the majority of us europeans ^^
If writing is something you are interested in doing, then try contacting some web design/development blogs about guest posting =)
I wrote articles for a design blog regularly which has on average 50-60k readers (according to feedburner). With my twitter in the author bio, as well as my TF profile, I now have nearing 250 followers which grows daily, and a good amount of clickthroughs and signups each month.
It’s just about getting out there and getting involved in the web design community.
