My opinion is split.
Yes it’s hard to tell someone that his work is not good.
It’s even harder when it’s to say that it’s not good at all.
And yes, it’s frequently more constructive to say what we can improve point by point.

But I think what we are doing here is a very demanding job. And we can not consider a very demanding job as a drawing that would make a child. With children we are nice. And this is normal, because the drawing of a child is always the most beautiful drawing :)

Being able to hear negative opinions about his work is vital in learning a profession as demanding as ours. If koshka_007 is a future successful author, he should be grateful for the little he heard here. By cons, if koshka_007 does not have the needed tenacity, he is now upset, he wants to stop everything and we made him save time.

My message might sound cynical but but I’m not someone cynical. I am a nice person, and I like to congratulate the children’s drawings.
I don’t want to compare anyone with a child. I’m just saying that the habit of not wanting to be too hard is inherited from that period of life when adults make compliments to children’s drawings.
Here we are not in an item’s comments section. We must be as honest as possible with those who seek our opinion. Stay on child functioning “What a beautiful drawing my son! But why dad has no ears?”... Is the worst brake.

Yes I noticed a drop in sales since the introduction of the new search system.
Yes I believe that this has affected my sales.

Please guys. Expect help from Adobe? :)

Be careful to not become disabused with discouraging remarks. Obviously it is impossible to prevent piracy. But there are people here who would like to put obstacles even if it’s DIY.
It is possible to randomly scattered scripts throughout a project. In this case, the hacker must remove everything manually in over a hundred different places. If he forgets one buffer codes, detection is always there. And the hacker will have to be careful not to remove important things for the functioning of the project.

The kind of stuff very long and very boring to remove. And to further complicate things, the operation, the logic and the type of code changes randomly for each project.

But still no one will stop pirate to copy or resave file, or some how remove protection…
Of course ;)
But it’s technically possible to make very long and boring the extraction of a detection. So long and boring that a hacker will spend a very long time if he wants to succeed. If each update of the plugin changes the way to anchor the detection throughout the code, Hackers will have a hard time.

Nothing can makes the piracy impossible, but that’s the life of pirates that we must make impossible.

Your idea to limit the number of computer is very good!

Only Adobe can give us the solution.

I’m sure not. And if this is done by Adobe, goodbye older versions of After Effects for open our projects. And hello hacker tools to remove the detection easily.

It has to be an isolated Plugin with regular updates so that the operation of technical anchoring of the detection is changing and that the hackers never have a easy way to remove this detection.

The destroyer plugin of my dreams.

Description of this marvel in two points:

1. A unique detection code is assigned to each template. Ensure that it is very long and very boring technically to remove the detection of the .aep file. Also very complicated to extract the compositions to separate them from this detection in an other .aep file. Remove this detection must be sufficiently complicated, long and boring… So that hackers leave this detection in the hacked file.

2. The author have the possibility to disable a unique code. When he sees that his project is available somewhere, the author can disable the exact code of the hacked file with a single click. The author have just to download the hacked file, see what is the detection code, copy the code in the plugin interface and click on “disable this code”.This makes the hacked file can not be opened. Upon detection, the template displays a message “This detection code has been deactivated due to hacking, you can contact Envato Support for more information.”

Oh yeah 8-)
