This honestly sounds very niche. You’ll most likely have to hire a developer to develop this plugin.

Indeed. This’ll have to be a custom-built plugin as I can’t think of many people finding this useful. Contact me if you’re interested, but I can tell you beforehand that it’ll cost at least $750.

I doubt it very much, try this. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Wordpress+plugin+for+users+to+chart+miles

never write the word “for” or “to” in a google search ;)

But I agree with sporttipsworld, chances are slim at best that this plugin exists and has what you need.

Yes, you can run a script when the user quits the page. You cannot however prevent him from leaving the page other than the default confirm box, this is because of security reasons. I suggest using something like this:

<script>
$(document).ready(function() {
   $("a").click(function() {
      //do stuff here
      if(!success) {
         return false;
      }
   });
});
</script>

But of course it won’t register events where the anchor tag isn’t clicked, so you should use the window.onbeforeunload as a backup.

Make sure you’ve loaded the jQuery library and check if the browser you’re using is supported. If you’re using Internet Explorer it would be a good idea to switch to Chrome ;) Another thing you can do is bring up the console (usually F12 ), then reload the page and see if any errors pop up.

Remember that authors are not obligated to provide support, most do but some don’t. It can also take quite a long time for support to be answered, especially in the holiday season.

You make an excellent point. Don’t underestimate the damage that water deprivation can do to you, guys. Practise religion responsibly ;)

Fasting has many medical benefits, these page have some info and there’s something about water too:

http://www.masjidtucson.org/submission/practices/ramadan/medicalbenefits.html

http://serendip.brynmawr.edu/exchange/node/1834/

http://forums.understanding-islam.com/showthread.php?945-Health-Benefits-of-Fasting

Those articles, and pretty much any other positive article about fasting, are about the fact that fasting is healthy because you burn fat, which essentially results in you losing weight. If you go to a doctor, he’ll never tell you to fast (unless you eat way too much calories or unhealthy food), but instead tell you to exercise more to lose weight. Therefor fasting should never be seen as a positive thing towards a person’s health, but only as an alternative, easier, and less healthy solution.

Did you know that eating vegetables every day is much more healthy than fasting? I guess not, that’s why you’re fasting. You can never argue that fasting is healthy, as there are much less damaging alternative solutions. I understand that people fast because of their religion, but you shouldn’t say that you’re going it because it’s healthy, because that’s really not true.

I’m currently working on the 13” air (and typing this reply :) ) and I have to say that it’s pretty damn fast! The SSD makes a real big difference: boot time is only a few seconds and I can easily run all of my programs for web development simultaneously. Yeah, if you ask me it doesn’t make much sense why the display in the Pro is of lower resolution, it’s a “Pro”, but I’ve got my macbook hooked up to an external 1080p display when I’m working anyhow. That difference in resolution is noticeable, but not such a big deal for most people.

If you decide to go with the Pro because you need the quad-core, put an SSD inside. But if you aren’t doing video editing or using Photoshop 24/7 (although Photoshop runs very smoothly on my machine), go with the Air. Besides, the Air is amazingly thin and light.

If you’re thirsty, you’re already dehydrated as our thirst sensation doesn’t really appear until we are 1 or 2 percent dehydrated. By then dehydration is already setting in and starting to impact how our mind and body perform. Think about kidney stones and the damage it can do to all internal organs. Dehydration affects all people, and staying properly hydrated is just as important for those who work all day at a computer as it is for marathon runners, who can lose up to 8 percent of their body weight as water when they compete. You need 8-10 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated.
