Nice work, I deffo like it. I think TF could do with some new reviewers (sorry) because they seem to be just accepting the default header-scrolling images-some text with a couple images which, although there are some v.talented people on here, is getting very old. This is constructive feedback, don’t want to offend.

for the future – get the lgo, cut it up in Photoshop so all you got is the text, then go to ‘WhatTheFont’ and it will give you an idea of what font is being used.

Nice link mate thanks, I found it boring at the beginning but when it kicks off it’s awesome. I play PS3 ‘shidoshi_rob’.

I’m using this code to make an accordeon on http://www.robbydesigns/temp

function initMenus() { $(‘ul.menu ul’).hide(); $.each($(‘ul.menu’), function(){ $(’#’ + this.id + ’.expandfirst ul:first’).show(); }); $(‘ul.menu li a’).click( function() { var checkElement = $(this).next(); var parent = this.parentNode.parentNode.id; } $(document).ready(function() {initMenus();});

if($('#' + parent).hasClass('noaccordion')) {
            $(this).next().slideToggle('normal');
            return false;
        }
        if((checkElement.is('ul')) && (checkElement.is(':visible'))) {
            if($('#' + parent).hasClass('collapsible')) {
                $('#' + parent + ' ul:visible').slideUp('normal');
            }
            return false;
        }
        if((checkElement.is('ul')) && (!checkElement.is(':visible'))) {
            $('#' + parent + ' ul:visible').slideUp('normal');
            checkElement.slideDown('normal');
            return false;
        }
    }
);

My client wants the accordeon to stay open unless clicked to close like it does at http://plycomp.co.uk/ How do I achieve that using the code above?

Aqua Chocolat business Card Template Preview

It got rejected for it’s overall look and Typography, looks fine to me. Feedback appreciated.

Thanks everyone, I’ll take a look around TF but to be honest I do visit here a lot and I’ve not seen anything suitable yet (maybe I’ve missed something?).

To clarify the project (why I am stuck):

the original design includes the photo of the shop as it’s header (take a look at the photo in my first post and then the header here: http://www.livingarttattoo.co.uk), the thing is, it all goes wrong after that; I hate it (even though I was the main designer – not coder- of the original). I’m looking to bring it up to date, make it funky and ‘cool’; they’re a cool bunch of guys, the shop is mind-blowing and I feel the site should follow that ‘brand’.

Any tips/inspiration appreciated.

Hi, I’m a Freelancer as you all know. I recently took over some sites from a defunct web design company and am looking to redesign the website: http://www.livingarttattoo.co.uk

the guys want their shop image involved and I have to admit it’s got me stumped – is anybody out there designing a theme I could use..if not, then how much in £Sterling to design one for me?

You’ll have trouble finding a theme that is so targetted mainly because it would be hard to sell plus the copyright issues of using an image of Oasis or whoever. I’ve seen Joomla template providers do stuff like it.

A bit off-topic but personally I’d make the heading tag margins larger in order to give a bit of space between each section. The sidebar I’d make wider or reduce the font so that each label fits in nice and neat.
